About Me
I’m a third-year Ph.D student at University College Dublin (UCD), under superivsion of Assoc. Prof. Nhien-An Le-Khac who is a supportive supervisor and outstanding scientist. I got full scholarship for 4-year Ph.D program from SFI Centre for Research Training in Machine Learning. I’m also a member of UCD Artificial Intelligence Solution for Cyber Security, Digital Forensics and Smart Systems (ASEADOS) Lab, which is a research group focusing on AI security, cybersecurity, and digital forensics.
My main research focus on the area of AI Investigation and AI Security. I’m also interested in Federated Learning, Adaptive Learning, Generative Modelling, and Biometric Template Protection. My Ph.D research topic is “Generalized and Robust Deepfake Detection” which aims to (1) develop a generalized passive deepfake detector that can adapt to various deepfake generation methods or post-processing operations and (2) design a robust watermarking approach that protect generative model copyright and prevent unauthorized content generation.
Past Study
I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Honors Program of the Department of Information Technology, University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City in 2020. I was a member of Decentralized Applied Cryptography Lab (DAC-lab@FIT), advised by Assoc. Prof. Dinh Thuc Nguyen. During the time in this lab, I worked on projects related to voice-based biometric template protection.
